8 - Pumpkin pie (how can you not love this?)
9 - The Macy's parade & the unofficial start of the Christmas season!
10 - Indians & Pilgrims (It's the only day of the year when Calvinists are actually cool.)

I didn't know Native Americans were Calvinists?
Seriously though- 11. Thanksgiving for our WPA blogs. (Yours and Zilhaver's are among the best!)They do give us a sense of "connection", even if it is cyber based.
